In the second quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Belgium showed diverse performance trends according to Sensor Tower data.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 17.2K by the end of June. The app also maintained a consistent level of engagement with weekly active users rising from 1.2M to 1.3M over the quarter.

Polarsteps Travel experienced a notable surge in weekly downloads, culminating in a high of 17.3K in the final week of June. Alongside this, the app's weekly active users grew significantly, reaching 114.8K by the end of the quarter.

RouteYou - walking and cycling recorded a mixed performance. While weekly downloads fluctuated, they ended at around 2.7K. However, the app's revenue showed a strong upward trend, peaking at $3.5K in the last week of June. Despite this, weekly active users decreased slightly from 26.2K to 20.2K.

Google Earth maintained stable weekly downloads, averaging around 2.5K. Its active user base showed a modest increase, peaking at 36.9K in the week of June 23.

Satellite View - Maps - Radar had a varied performance. The app's downloads saw a significant drop in early June but rebounded slightly to end at 664. Despite this, active users showed an overall increase, ending the quarter at 3.1K.
